We have received a number of links from various organisations about Domestic Abuse and felt it important to share the below contact numbers:
Evidence shows that domestic abuse may rise when there’s an extra burden on relationships from a combination of financial pressure and being cooped up in close quarters. We want you to feel safe in your home, so please don’t suffer in silence. If you’re affected, or know someone who is, there is confidential advice and support available.
Domestic abuse or violence is a crime and should be reported to the police – there are also other organisations who can offer you help and support.
Call 999 if it’s an emergency or you’re in immediate danger; if you are unable to talk on the phone, call 999 and then press 55. This will transfer your call to the relevant police force who will assist you without you having to speak
